| Objective: To observe the relation between TCM types of Menstruation delay symptom and sex hormone, furthermore to testify the objective foundation of the progressing Menstruation delay and reveal the internal relation between the experimental indices and TCM types. The study will direct the Treatment of Menstruation delay by offering an objective standard. Methods: Chosen Menstruation delay 120 cases with Chinese Medicine Symptom as the test group, Shen deficiency 30 cases; Xue deficiency 29 cases; Xue clodness 30 cases; Qi stagnancy 31 cases. To study the divergence between the sex hormone such as FSH, LH, PRL, E2, P and the four groups as compared with separately. Results: During the period of menses Menstruation delay according to Chinese Medicine Symptom divide into group, from the 1-7 days to menstruation compared with the five groups. Every group sex hormone was compared with each other. There were no significant differences with regard to the LH and P levels among four TCM syndromes (P>0.05). There were significant differences with regard to the FSH, PRL and E2 levels among four syndromes (P<0.05). For the FSH levels, the syndrome of Xue coldness was lower than the other groups. The difference has statistics significances (P<0.05). But there were no significant differences with regard to other three groups in the FSH levels (P>0.05). For the E2 levels, the syndrome of Shen deficiency was lower than the other groups. The difference has statistics significances (P<0.05). But there were no significant differences with regard to other three groups in the E2 levels (P>0.05). For the PRL levels, the syndrome of Qi stagnancy was higher than the other groups. The difference has statistics significances (P<0.05). But there were no significant differences with regard to other three groups in the PRL levels (P>0.05). At the same time, through statistics, we studied the negative correlation between Menstruation delayed patient age and the LH levels. The difference has statistics significances (P<0.01). And there was positive correlationbetween Menstruation delayed patient age and the E2 levels. The difference has statistics significances (P<0.01). There was negative correlation between course of Menstruation delayed patient and the FSH levels. There was also negative correlation between course of Menstruation delayed patient and the E2 levels. The difference has statistics significances (P<0.01). Conclusion: The FSH levels of the syndrome of Xue coldness was lower than the other groups. The E2 levels of the syndrome of Shen deficiency was lower than the other groups. The PRL levels of the syndrome of Qi stagnancy was higher than the other groups. The difference has statistics significances. The FSH levels lessening is connected with the syndrome of Xue coldness. The E2 levels lessening is connected with the syndrome of Shen deficiency. The PRL levels rising is connected with the syndrome of Qi stagnancy. Meanwhile, the research is discovered that there was relativity between the levels of sex hormone and ages, course of disease. With the age increasing by, the LH levels can reduce; and the E2 levels can rise. With the course of disease increasing by, the FSH levels can reduce; the E2 levels can also reduce. |
