| Objective: To explore whether differences of distribution of blood serum sex hormone may exist in the Hypomenorrhea patients with Kidney-deficiency syndrome (KDS), blood-deficiency syndrome (BDS),blood-stasis syndrome (BSS), phlegm-dampness syndrome(PDS). Method: We surveyed 130 cases from outpatients and inpatients with person of Hypomenorrhea, including 35KDS cases, 31BDS cases, 35BSS cases and 29PDS cases. All thepaients'blood were checked in their menstrual cycle a week before and all the records were detailed and analyzesed. Results: There was no significant difference in each group on Follicl stimulating hormone and Luteinzing hormone; estrogen and prolactin levels of blood-stasis group were significantly higher than the other three groups(P<0.05); and progesterone level of blood-significantly group was lower than the other groups(P<0.05); testosterone levels of phlegm-dampness group were significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: The level of the female sex hormone to Hypomenorrhea has no influence in the four Chinese medicine Symptom distributes. The female sex hormone may be taken as microscopic material base to the Chinese medicine Symptom of Hypomenorrhea. |
