| Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of phacoemulsification with 3.2mm clear corneal tunnel incisions and the implantation of Acrysof foldable intraocular lens(IOL) with injector .Methods 219 case cataracts with 242 eyes underwent phacoemulsification with 3.2mm clear corneal tunnel incisions and the implantation of Acrysof foldable intraocular lens(IOL) with injector ,including 83 male cases (93 eyes),136 female cases(149 eyes), age 16 to 85 yesrs old,mean 62.2 years. Models of IOL were SN60AT with 13.0mm length and 6.0mm optic from Alcon company.The changes of visual, corneal astigmatism, anterior chamber,PCO etc were observed. The data were analyzed statistically by SPSS11.5 for window.Results (1) The correctable visual acuities with synthesized cases were 0.5 or better in 75.21%,84.30%,85.54%,86.78% and were 1.0 or better in 34.71%, 36.78%, 39.26%,47.11% at 1 day, 1 week, 1 month and 3 months. The correctable visual acuities excluding pathological change cataracts were 0.5 or better in 87.17%, 90.37%;92.51% and were 1.0 or better in 41.18%;69.52%,86.10% at 1 day, 1 month and 3 months.(2) At preoperatively, the mean astigmatism was 0.83±0.79D; at 1 day,1 week, 1 month and 3 month postoperatively,the mean astigmatism was 1.24±1.02D ,0.79±0.61D,0.76±0.54D. The difference between preoperation and 1 day was statistically significant(P<0.05);the difference between preoperation and 1 month was not statistically significant(P>0.05);the difference between 1 month and 3 month was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(3) The rate of corneal edema was low.(4) Anterior chamber flares were mild.(5) There was no one about incidence of posterior capsular opacification(PCO).Conclusion Perfect visual incision smaller, low astigmatic .The anrerior chamber reacts slight, with good effect and low incidence of PCO with 3.2mm clear corneal tunnel incisions and the implantation of Acrysof foldable intraocular lens(IOL) with injector . |
