[Objective] To observe the expressions and distribution of IgA, CD35 in chronic tonsillitis and IgA-N patients and to explore their clinical significance in the two kinds of tonsillitis.[Method] Adopting immunohistochemistry ElivisionTM plus method, 37 cases of IgA-N, 80 cases of chronic tonsillitis as control were detected for the expression ofIgA and CD35.[Result] The differences of expression of IgA, CD35 in the tonsillae between above two groups were significantly obvious. The number of immunocytes which can produce IgA was obviously incresed in IgA-N tonsillae. The expression of CD35 in IgA-N tonsillae was hadro-positive while negative in chronic tonsillitis tonsillae.[Conclusion] The expression of IgA in chronic tonsillitis and IgA-N tonsillae both had a great significance difference. And the expression of CD35 was the same. They played different action in the two sets of tonsillae. The expressions of IgA and CD35 in IgA-N tonsillae were both hadro-positive and presented positive correlation. The expression of IgA,CD35 may be one of the earlier period events, and can be one of the indexes for the early diagnosis of IgA-N.
