Objective:To explore the rules of vascular endothelial function with ages changes in normal adults by E-Tracking technology and find their potential clinical application. Methods: 150 normal adults were devided to five group building on ages (each group includes 30 cases), Color Doppler E-Tracking technology were performed to calculate parameters of pressure-strain elastic modulus (Ep), stiffness (β), the arterial compliance (AC), augmentation index (AI) and one-point pulse wave velocity calculated fromβvalue (PWVβ) which reflect the endothelial function. Results:β,Ep,AI and PWVβ:were gradually increase with the increase of ages and AC were gradually decrease with the increase of ages in double carotid in healthy volunteers .β,Ep,AI and PWVβwere gradually increase with the increase of ages in double branchialis artery , but no difference in AC between different ages group in double branchialis artery in healthy volunteers .For more than 50 years of age crowd, the adjacent age groups showed no significant difference. Conclusions: There were gradually decrease in endothelial function with age increasing, age could be regarded as an independent factor in arteriosclerosis. And the E-tracking technique may be apromising, modality for noninvasive estimation of endothelial function.
