Clinical Research On Treating Knee Joint Osteoarthritis With Decoction Of Jia Wei Shao Yao Gan Cao

Objective: To observe the clinical effects of Jia Wei Shao Yao Gan Cao decoction matching with the clearing operation in arthroscope of articular genu treating Knee joint ostearthritis(KOA) and the effects to the level of interleukin1β(IL-1β)in synovial fluid of knee joint. Method: Admission patient that consistent with selected standard will be randomly separated between the treatment group and the control group. The 49 treatment cases with administration of clearing operation in arthroscope of articular genu,meanwhile combination with Jia Wei Shao Yao Gan Cao decoction,and the 45 cases in control group only with clearing operation in arthroscope of articular genu. Result: 1) Evaluation super-therapeutic effect after 4 weeks of treatment:the experiment group efficiency ratio of 95.92% and apparent efficiency ratio of 65.31% while the control group only had 88.89% and 31.11%. 2) Evaluation both presenting symptom and objective sign after 4 weeks of treatment:comparing with prior treatment two groups have amelioration in post treatment about their self comparison,experiment group provided efficacy advantages over control group in therapeutic efficacy.Evaluation presenting symptom after 4 weeks of treatment:comparing with prior treatment two groups have amelioration in post treatment about their self comparison,experiment group provided efficacy advantages over control group in therapeutic efficacy except several minor symptom.Evaluation objective sign after 4 weeks of treatment:comparing with prior treatment two groups have amelioration in post treatment about their self comparison except several minor objective sign,Experiment group,s integral amelioration of objective sign(motion of joint?arthrocele?tenderness surrounding knee)surpass over control group. 3) Evaluation the level of IL-1βin synovial fluid of knee joint after 4 weeks of treatment:comparing with prior treatment two groups have amelioration in post treatment about their self comparison,experiment group surpass over control group. Two groups comparison have significant difference in statistics.(4)Two groups have not manifest adverse effect. Conclusion: The clinical effect of Jia Wei Shao Yao Gan Cao decoction matching with the clearing operation in arthroscope of articular genu treating KOA is significant, especially to improve the motion of joint?arthrocele and tenderness surrounding knee obviously.It can degrade the level of IL-1βin synovial fluid of knee joint effectively,but the mechanism of action and prostecdtive efficacy would be authenticated and illuminated through aninimal empirical study and clinical observation in the future.
