| Objective:To sum-up recently study and development of therapy in the fracture of supracondylar humerus in children, Then analyze modified percutaneous fixation with kirschner wire in the factors which have effects on cure and give scientific support to the therapy of healing the fracture of supracondylar humerus in children. Methods:A study was performed on 50 cases the children who had treatment with fracture of supracondylar humerus (25 cases in the group of external splint fixation treatment, 25 cases in the group of modified percutaneous fixation with Kirschner wire treatment). In treatment process and after follow-up , Then we analyze and compare the therapeutic effect by t test and X~2 test, analyze the factors which have effects on cure with the information of radiography which we grade the patients according to the Lu Dodgt' s system which evaluates the clinical effect by judging the blisters, redisplacement had, healing time, imaging data and the movement of elbow joint .Result:Grade the patients according to the Dodgt' s system. The excellent rate in the group of external splint fixation treatment is 80%, which the excellent rate in the group of modified percutaneous fixation with Kirschner wire treatment is 92%. The difference of the scores were significant (P<0. 05). And blisters, redisplacement had, healing time, imaging data , the movement of elbow joint in the group of external splint fixation treatment is better than the modified percutaneous fixation with Kirschner wire treatment.Conclusion:(1)For the obvious displaced fractures, complicated with vascular and nerve injuries, open fractures and multiple fractures, modified percutaneous fixation with Kirschner wire treatment is the first choice. But for the no-displacement and mild displacement, external splint fixation treatment is a good choice. But(2)In the fixation strength, fracture reduction, prevention of complication and functional recovery, modified percutaneous fixation with Kirschner wire treatment is better than the external splint fixation treatment. (3)The modified percutaneous fixation with Kirschner wire treatment is a effective and safe treatment in the fracture of supracondylar humerus in children. So it is worth popularizing. |
