| Objective:To observe the curative effect of catgut embedding at acupoint on curing cervical spondylotic radiculopath, and compare the curative effect of different acupoints for cervical spondylotic radiculopath.Methods:58 cases of cervical spondylotic radiculopath were randomly divided into three groups, the first group was treated at Ashi point, the second group was treated at Ashi point and Dazhu point, the third ground was treated at Ashi point and Dazhui point. All cases were treated with catgut embedding at acupoint.Compare the curative effect of points for cervical spondylotic radiculopath.Catgut embedding at acupoint was given once 10 days.3 treaments constituted of one course. There therapeutic effects and pain degree(short McGill pain questionnaire)and changes of symptom and sign before and after the first course and after the second course were observed. Results:The total effctive rate of the first group is 83.92%,and the second group is 94.64%,and the third group is 100.00%.The difference of the rapeutic weren't signlficant(P>0.05).The total effctive rates of the second group and the third group are higher the first group. After the first course and the second course, each group was improved in PRI,VAS and PPI(P<0.05).As to evaluation of pain degree, the difference in three groups of positive words item,PRI sensation degree, tatol PRI degree and PPI were significant(P<0.05).The difference in three groups of PRI emotion degree weren't significant(P>0.05).The difference of improving degree of symptom and sign in three groups was significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:Acupoint catgut embedding could improve the symptoms and signs of patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopath. The points of three groups are effective points for cervical spondylotic radiculopath.Ashi point and Dazhu point or Ashi point and Dazhui are more effective in improving the symptoms and signs of patients. After a course,Ashi point and Dazhu point could improve the symptoms and signs of patients more quickly. After two courses,Ashi point and Dazhui could improve the symptoms and signs of patients more steadily. |
