| objective: To investigate the effect of the combination of Chinese and western medicine treatment for gastric paralysis after abdominal operation.Methods: In addition to routine treatment ,24 patients in observation group were treated with"Xiaochengqi soup"and acupuncture .and the control group with 20 patients were only given routine treatment.The influence of two methods on post-operation patients with gastric paralysis was detemined by the time of gastric-intestine function restoration.Results: The time of gurgling sound restoration and food and drink restoration in observation group were shorter than control group., there was a remarkable difference between the two groups(P<0.05). conclusion Combination of chinese and western medicine could effectively improve the gastric-intestine function and the restoration of the gastric paralysis. |
