Psychiatric Symptom, Monoamine Neurotransmitter And Sexual Hormone In Serum Of PCOS With Infertility Patients

Objectives:Explore the concentration of monoamine neurotransmitter in serum and mental health to PCOS with infertility,and approach the relationships between psychiatric symptom and neurotransmitter, neurotransmitter and sexual hormone.Desire these datas could aid the Combined Modality Therapy to PCOS with infertility.Methods:30 PCOS with infertility as experimental group(EG)and 30 non-PCOS with infertility as control group(CG),were administered by Symptom Checklist(SCL-90),the factor scores such as of depression, anxiety.Their monoamine neurotransmitter in serum were determined by High Performance Liquid Chromatographic Analysis with Coularray Detector-4,including norepinephrine(NE),3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenylgl ycol(MHPG),5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT),5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA),dopamine(DA),homovanillic acid(HVA)and dihydroxy-phenyl acetic acid(DOPAC).And analyzed correlation between factor scores on SCL-90 and neurotransmitter,neurotransmitter and sexual hormone in PCOS.Results:1.There were statistical differences on the factor scores on depression and anxiety between infertility with PCOS and without PCOS(P＜0.05).PCOS had higher factor scores on depression and anxiety than infertility without PCOS. 2.There were statistical differences on 5-HT,5-HIAA,HVA in serum between infertility with PCOS and without PCOS(P＜0.05).PCOS had lower concentration of 5-HT,5-HIAA,HVA in serum than infertility without PCOS.3.Analyed the correlation between factor scores of SCL-90 and neurotransmitters in serum.In total,there was positive correlation between phobophobia and MHPG(r=.302;P=0.004),negative correlation between sensitivity and DOPAC(r=-.246;P=0.012),negative correlation between hostility and DOPAC(r=-.218;P=0.031),negative correlation between psychosis and MHPG(r=.093;P=0.070),positive correlation between psychosis and DOPAC(r=-.041;P=0.001).In PCOS,there was positive correlation between phobophobia and MHPG(r=.334;P=0.071),negative correlation between hostility and DOPAC(r=-.416;P=0.022),negative correlation between hostility and HVA(r=-.313;P=0.092).In non-PCOS,there was no correlation between factor score of SCL-90 or neurotransmitters in serum.4.Analying the correlation between neurotransmitter and sexual hormone in PCOS,there was significantly negative correlation between MHPG and FSH(r=-.609;p=0.000),positive correlation between DA and FSH(r=.162;p=0.094),negative correlation between 5-HT and TT(r=-.360;p=0.051).Conelusions:1.Infertility with PCOS had higher factor scores on depression and anxiety and lower concentration of 5-HT,5-HIAA,HVA in serum than infertility without PCOS.2.Infertility with PCOS had lower concentration of 5-HT,5-HIAA,HVA in serum than infertility without PCOS.3.Clinician should pay attention to mental healty on PCOS.We could try new treatment to PCOS with infertility by psychological treatment and drug of neurotransmitter.
