Purpose: Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a highly heterogeneous long-term chronic disease, usually following a woman with her whole life, and is the main cause of anovulation infertility, which seriously endangers the physical and mental health and quality of life of women of childbearing age. This study compared the difference of life quality between PCOS patients of reproductive age and healthy people of reproductive age,and to explore the influence of different psychological factors, especially positive psychological factors,on the quality of life of PCOS patients of reproductive age,so as to provide scientific basis for improving the quality of life of PCOS patients of reproductive age.Subjects and methods: In this study the convenience sampling method was used.107 patients of childbearing age who were diagnosed with PCOS and 420 age-matched healthy women of childbearing age were selected for investigation by a certain Level-3 Grade-A hospital in Shenyang from October 2017 to December 2018.The questionnaire included general information questionnaire,SF-36,CD-RISC,LOT and PSS-10.Main Application IBM SPSS Statistics21.0 was mainly used for data processing and analysis. The quality of life, general information, scores of SF-36,CD-RISC,LOT and PSS-10 of the two groups were compared and analyzed using Chi-square test and T-test;independent sample T test and One-Way ANOVA analysis were used to explore the influence of general conditions on the quality of life;PEARSON correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between psychological factors and quality of life.Using SF-36 physical health total score and mental health total score of the two groups as dependent variables, using factors with statistical significance(p<0.05)in the univariate analysis of the two groups as independent variables, the potential influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable was discussed by using multiple linear regression analysis. Results: 1.The average scores of physiological health dimension and psychological health dimension of PCOS patients were 70.37±14.64 and 80.06±12.77 respectively;the average scores of physiological health dimension and psychological health dimension of healthy population were 62.70±19.03 and 76.12±13.43 respectively. There were statistically significant differences between PCOS population and healthy population of reproductive age in basic conditions.2.Correlation analysis showed that there was a negative correlation between pressure perception and QOL of PCOS patients of childbearing age;Optimism and mental resilience are positively correlated with the QOL of PCOS patients of childbearing age.3.The results of regression analysis showed that the main influencing factors of QOL in PCOS patients of child-bearing age were different from those in the control group. The significant influencing factors of physiological health dimensions were optimism,BMI,medication-regulated menstruation, exercise and thyroid condition. The significant influencing factors of mental health were pressure, optimism, dysmenorrhea, coffee consumption and BMI.Conclusion: The quality of life of PCOS patients of child-bearing age was lower than that of healthy control subjects. The main influencing factors are optimism,pressure,BMI,medication-regulated menstruation, dysmenorrhea, exercise, coffee drinking and thyroid condition.Among them, optimism, good physical activity(> 1 time/week)and daily coffee consumption were positive factors for QOL in PCOS patients of childbearing age. However, pressure,BMI obesity, the need for medication to regulate menstruation, the presence of dysmenorrhea, and thyroid abnormalities are negative factors affecting QOL in PCOS patients of childbearing age.Medical institutions should attach importance to the quality of life and mental health of PCOS patients of childbearing age,and the quality of life of patients can be improved by implementing intervention measures aimed at influencing factors of their quality of life.
