Objective:To evaluate the proportion of CD4~+CD25~+Tregs in peripheral blood of the patients with CML,to seek out the correlation among the proportion of CD4~+CD25~+Tregs,patients' curative effect and prognosis at different phases,and to explain the onset and the turnover of CML by immunology.Methods:The proportion of CD4~+CD25~+Tregs was measured in PMB samples from 23 patients and 10 normal controls by flowcytometry The proportions were compared among CML patients,normal controls and different phases;correlation was sought between the proportion and many clinical parameters.Results:1.Compared with normal controls,the percentages of CD4~+ CD 25~+ Tregs in the chronic without therapy,accelerated or blastic phase are significant lower(p<0.05);and there is no difference in chronic phase with therapy(p>0.05);2.Compared with normal controls,the percentages of CD4~+T cells in the chronic without therapy,accelerated or blastic phase are significant lower(p<0.05);and there is no difference in chronic phase with therapy(p>0.05);3.In different phases,the percentages of CD4~+CD25~+ Tregs in chronic phase with therapy is higher than in chronic phase without therapy(p<0.05);there is no difference between chronic phase with therapy and accelerated or blastic phase;4.The percentages of CD4~+CD25~+Tregs correlate with higher hemoglobin,lower younger cells(myeloblast plus promyelocyte)in the BM.Conclusion:1.There is abnormal expression of CD4~+CD25~+Tregs in CML patients,The percentages decrease with developing phases,the lower shoes that it will turn into accelerated or blastic phase;2.The percentages of CD4~+T cells decrease in the accelerated or blastic phase;3.The levels of CD4~+CD25~+Tregs correlate with higher hemoglobin,lower younger cells(myeloblast plus promyelocyte)in the BM.
