Xiaokangling â…¡ Against Urealplasma Urealyticum Infeccted Mouse And Its Effect On Uterus In Histomorphology

OBJECTIVE:TO establish an animal model of genital tract infection of Uu;to obsersve the curative effect of the prescription NoⅡof XIAOKANGLING on the young adult female mice with Uu infection.METHODS:60 young adult female mice of strain BALB/c were used and a dose of 0.125mg of oestradiol benzoate was administered subcutaneously on four occasions,at weekly intervals.The oestradiol-treated mice were inoculated with Uu serovar 8 intravaginally:an inoculum volume of 50 ul was introduced into the vaginal of each mouse with an Eppendorf pipette,this was accomplished at the same time as the mouse received the second dose of oestradiol.Mice were examined after inoculation of the Uu with the method of culturing.Uu was successfully inoculated in 60 mice.We divided them randomly into three groups:seperatedly given NoⅡof XIAOKANGLING, Azithromycin,Sodium Chloride,The mice were examined after two weeks treatment.Vaginal discharge was got by a nasopharyngeal swab and inoculated into the liquid medium.At autopsy,the uterus were remouved.through H-E staining and observed by light microscope.The results were analyze by SPSS 11.0.RESULTS:An animal model of genital tract infection of Ureaplasma urealyticum was established successfully,the infection can spead to the upper genital tract.95%of Uu infection turned negative in NoⅡof XIAOKANGLING group,which is significant higher than that(60%)of azitromycin group(P＜0.05).There is signifant difference among NoⅡof XIAOKANGLING group, Azithromycin group and Sodium Chloride guoup(P＜0.001).Inflammation in the uterus in turned negative group was eliminated.CONCLUSIONS:1.Inoculation with Uu serovar 8 intravaginally to oestradiol-pretreated mice can successfully establish genital tract infection animal model.2.The infection can spead to the upper genital tract.3.We can see lymphocytes under light microscope in the iuterus with inflammation,indicating that immune system may participate in the Uu infection.4.NoⅡof XIAOKANGLING can eliminate Uu infection,and it is better than azitromycin.5.NoⅡof XIAOKANGLING and azitromycin both can cure inflammation in uterus through eliminating Uu.
