Clinical Efficacy Of Shixiaosan And Jinlingzisan Modified For Treatment Of Type IIIB Prostatitis Of Qi And Blood Stagnancy Type

Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect of Shixiaosan and Jinlingzisan modified on type IIIB prostatitis (non-inflammatory chronic pelvic pain syndrome) of Qi and blood stagnancy type.Method: Shixiaosan and Jinlingzisan modified with general treatments were applied to 32 patients with type IIIB prostatitis of Qi and blood stagnancy type for 4 weeks to observe their effects and to compare the NIH-CPSI changes before and after the treatment. The result was analyzed by statistical software for t-test to evaluate the efficacy.Results: Clinical observation showed that among 32 cases of type IIIB prostatitis treated with Shixiaosan and Jinlingzisan modified , 0 case recovered, 7 cases improved and 22 cases reacted positively, the overall efficiency rate being 90.625%. The NIH-CPSI value after the treatment was significantly lower than the one before (P<0.01).It's no apparent side effects in the course of treatment.Conclusion: Shixiaosan and Jinlingzisan modified are in a better therapeutic effect on type IIIB prostatitis of Qi and blood stagnancy type.
