Resource Investigation And Assessment On Medicinal Plant Of Huperzia Serrated In Guangxi

Huperzia serrata(Thunb.)Trev.,an important medicine plant,belongs to Huperziaceae,Lycopodiales,Lycophytina,Pteridophyte.Huperzine A isolated from this plant has been proved to be medically effective to antagonize muscular relaxation and Aezheimer's disease.Because of it's unique medicinal value,wild resource of H.serrata was becoming exhausted.This paper researched on the geographic distribution and environment factor,variant types,storage volume, annual permitted purchase quantity,present utilization condition of resources, the content of Hup A in different populations of H.serrata,according to the data of geographical distribution of H.serrata collected extensively,by using the survey methods of typical sample and interview statistics.The results are following:(1)H.serrata locates discontinually under the mountain,of which the elevation range was from 600m to 1900m.It was suitable in moist and shady located in evergreen broad-leaved forests in central sub-tropical zone and monsoon evergreen broad-leaved forests in the southern sub-tropical zone,and the most suitable scope for the temperature and the annual precipitation was 13.2-19.7℃and 1450.2-2469.4mm.Heat factors was the most significantly limitde factor.(2)There was one variant type in Guangxi(Huperzia longipetiolata(Spring) C.Y.Yang).According to direct sampling results and indirect reasoning data,we determined that the natural storage capacity of H.serrata in Guangxi was 413.1 t, and distribution area was 1886.3km~2.But taking into growth period and utilization position of H.serrata,the annual permitted purchase quantity of H.serrata in Guangxi was 20.6t.Because of the relative concentrated distribution areas were in the natural reserves,large-scale exploitation of H. serrata was not feasible.(3)The content of Hup A in 10 populations of H.serrata were determined by HPLC.Hup A was found in different samples,but the highest content was found in the population collected from Jiuwandashan of Rong'shui,the content of Long'sheng population was the second place,the content of Jin'xiu population was the lowest.Rong'shui population might be the good genetic resources for cultivating.The content of Hup A in the leaf and stem was higher than that of in root.There was higher content in the old plant than the tender.(4)Because of the long-term excessive use of wild resources,environmental degradation,lagging behind the development of artificial cultivation,and other reasons,the wildlife resources was decreasing reduce year by year.Finally,this paper puts forward to sustainable utilization countermeasures of existing problems.
