The Analysis Of Clinical Pathology Materials Of Young Age And Old Age Female Breast Cancer

【Objective】This study chosed young age(≤40 years)and old age(≥60 years)female operable breast cancer patients.Using the pathology materials and molecular biology marks,we compared the differences between the two age groups and analyzed their biology characters.The aim is to guard the therapy plans for different ages and build the basement of the cause of disease research and other characters of breast cancer in the point of age.【Methods】The operable patients are all chosen from Jan.2005 to Oct.2007 in Qilu hospital.All the 589 patients are female.And we used the 277 samples of them which are composed of 114 young patients and 113 old patients. The stages are fromⅠtoⅢ.Young age group are 22 to 40 years old with the average age of 35.5 years and all are not menopause.Compared with the old age group are 60 to 80 years old with the average age of 67.3 years and all are menopause.31 samples of them have been excised and biopsied before the radical operation.All the 277 samples are stained by HE method and 2 19 of them are tested by immunohistochemistry method of the C-erbB-2, ER,PR,Ki-67 marks.【Results】227 samples are classified into 3 types of invasive unspecial carcinoma(including invasive duct carcinoma,invasive lobular carcinoma and mixed carcinoma),invasive special carcinoma and non- invasive carcinoma,x~2 test showed that there' s no difference between these two groups(p＞0.05)on pathology types in our research.But the statistical analysis showed the conspicuous differences between them of tumor size, axillary fossa lymph nodes metastasis,histological grading,molecular biology marks(ER,PR,Her-2/neu and Ki-67)and biology classification(basal-like breast cancer and non-basal-like breast cancer).【Conclusion】Young age female breast cancers are worse than old ones of the biology characters.When chosing operation and adjunct therapy plans,we should consider this and be individualization.
