| [Objective]:Vital Signs including body temperature, blood pressure and pulse and so on,are the foundation which maintain the vital movements of organism.Microcirculation can be found every organ and tissue of the body. Its sound function is a basic term to guarantee the normal function of tissues and cells in the body. And be called the fifth Vital Sign.Normally, vital signs are inter-coordination,inter-combination and to keep life. But under the abnormity conditions, they are interaction,inter-destruction and lead to threat to life. The study is put forwards for this, through the analysis of a great deal of experimental data about blood pressure, pulse and blood flow adapted to body temperature changes,to conclude a preliminary correlation between the Vital Signs.Blood pressure mensuration is one of the conventional methods to detect the vital movement. The invasive carotid arterial intubation method(IABP)is accurate, reliable, but needs anaesthesia and high condition of experiment and technique, and induces big wounds. However, the conscious animals' blood pressure can be measured by non-invasive tail-cuff(NIBP),which is a convenient operation and used widely at present. There was a study indicated that, the results from NIBP are higher than that from IABP.This research is aimed to seek for the reletivity between them through their difference, furthermore, make use of the NIBP to estimate the IABP presumedly.[Methods]:Experiment one:Study on relativity of measurements of blood pressure by tail-cuff and carotid arterial methods in rats. Healthy Wister rats,32,divided into 4 groups,10-12 weeks old female group, 10-12 weeks old male group,28-30 weeks old female group,28-30 weeks old male group,8 in every group.Step 1:Non-invasive tail-cuff measure:Put the sober rat of each group respectively into the fixation device provided by PowerLab signal acquisition system, soaked and softened rat tail by warm water, using Powerlab-ML125/R NIBP Controller to record the basic blood pressure.Step 2: Invasive carotid arterial intubation measure:The same 32 rats,20%urethane(5ml/kg) intraperitoneal injection for anaesthesia.Abruptioed the left common carotid artery and intubated, using PowerLab-MLT1199 IABP system to record the blood pressure.Experiment Two:Quantitative study on blood pressure, pulse and peripheral microcirculation adapted to body temperature changes in Rats.Step1:10-12 weeks old male Wister rats,10,20%urethane(2.5ml/kg) intraperitoneal injection for anaesthesia.Using the self-made-regulated heating blanket(0-50℃)increased the rats' body temperature according to the step by the foundational level,37℃,38℃and 39℃,recorded the values by Powerlab NIBP Controller and Powerlab Blood FlowMeter.Step2:Animals,anaesthesia and preparation are same as above.Using the self-made 20%sodium chloride bags(4℃) decreased the rats' body temperature aecording to the step by the foundational level, 36℃,35℃and 34℃,and recorded.Statistical analysis:Using SAS(Statistical Analysis System)software, analyzed the data above through a variety of statistical methods including t tests, analysis of variance, correlation and regression analysis.[Results]:1.The non-invasive tail-cuff provided higher BP compared with invasive carotid arterial method in every group, and there is statistical signification,t-TEST results:10-12 weeks old female group(NIBP:103.29±11.12,IABP:95.85±10.01, P<0.05),10-12 weeks old male group(NIBP:104.38±9.93,IABP:96.84±10.11, P<0.05),28-30 weeks old female group(NIBP:124.98±10.61,IABP:108.65±7.95, P<0.05),28-30 weeks old male group(NIBP:141.28±8.06,IABP:123.05±7.44, P<0.05).There were markable linear correlation bewteen NIBP and IABP in four group(P<0.05),and there is statistical signification.2.During the temperature changed for physical factor, the analysis of variance of the blood pressure, pulse and blood flow of the anesthetized rats under different body temperatures showed:the group differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There are correlativity between temperature and pulse, blood pressure and pulse, blood pressure and blood flow(P<0.05),and there is statistical signification.[Conclusions]:1.There were remarkable linear correlation between the blood pressures measured by non-invasive tail-cuff method, and invasive carotid arterial method. Through the respective linear regression equations, make use of the NIBP to estimate the IABP presumedly.2.The blood pressure, pulse and blood flow increase or decrease respectively with the increased or decreased body temperature. They change to varying degrees in the different ranges of the temperature. There are correlativity between temperature and pulse, blood pressure and pulse, blood pressure and blood flow. |
