| ObjectiveTo evaluate the intraperitoneal chemotherapy effect with simple platinum or platinum combined with cyclophosphamide / topotecan for advanced ovarian cancerMethodsBetween October 1996 and December 2007,The 88 patients with advanced ovarian cancer undergoing cytoreductive surgery in ShanDong Provincial Hospital were divided into two groups A and B,which received different ways of chemotherapy.A group stagesⅢ45 cases(51.34%)received intraperitonal chemotherapy with DDP OR CBP for 6~8courses,the interval is 4~6 weeks..B group stagesⅢ43 cases(48.66%)were also given intraperitonal chemotherapy.the chemotherapy methods is platinum combined with cyclophosphamide(PC Regimen)24 cases, platinum combined with cyclophosphamide, adriamycin(PAC Regimen)10 cases and platinum combined with topotecan(PT Regimen)9 cases。the chemotherapy courses and intervsals are the same as A groupResults:After three or six courses of intraperitonal chemotherapy there was no significant decrease in CA125,CEA in A and B groups.(p>0.05)。 The average of survival time in A and B groups is(31.33±1.41),(28. 26±1.88)months.There was no significance(P=0.08)in three-year survival rate between A and B groups in theⅢstages with Log Rank test. There was no significance between A and B with intraperitonal fluid after surgery。There was significance between A and B in the side reaction ConclusionsA and B groups for the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer could marketly decrease CA125,CEA after three or six courses, however, there was no significant difference. There were also no significance(P=0.08)in three-year survival rate and intraperitonal fluid after surgery. nevertheless,The combined chemotherapy could increase the side reaction, there were significant difference。consequently, the intraperitonal chemotherapy with simple platinum could be treated as first-line regimen for the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer... |
