Objectives:To evaluate the eficacy of method of Daidzein for prostatodynia. And to seek for a new method of treating prostatodyni(?).Methods:We choose 60 patients all with prostatodynia who were diagnosed and treated on the andropathy clinic in the hospital during March in 2007 to January in 2008 and belong to Zheng differentiation-classification of the blood stasis syndrome, and randomly divide them into two groups. The treatment group includes 30 patients was treated for 4 weeks with Chinese medicine Daidzein; While the control group 30 patients was treated for 4 weeks with Meloxicam. The NIH chronic prostatitis symptom score and the Zheng differentiation-classification score was used to grade symptoms at the beginning and conclusion of the study. Finally,we collected the data and conduct with statistical analysis. Results:The treatment group:the cure 3 patients, marked 14 patients, effect 10 patients, uneffect 3 patients, the total effect 27 patients, the total effective rate 90%;the control group:the cure 2 patients, marked 10 patients, effect 13 patients, uneffect 5 patients, the total effect 25 patients, the total effective rate83.33%.The cure rate, marked rate and the total effective rate in treatment group was higher than that of control group. The total effective rate in treatment group was not remarkably higher than that of the control group(P>0.05).After treating two weeks,Scores of total NIH-CPSI and Zheng differentiation-classification were more decreased in treatment group than that in control group(P<0.05).After treating four weeks, Scores of total NIH-CPSI and life quality were more decreased in treatment group than that in control group(P<0.05);and Zheng differentiation -classification score was even more significant difference between two groups(P<0.05);But there was no significant difference about pain score and urinary tract symptom score between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Method of Chinese medicine Daidzein is an effective treatment modality for prostatodynia and has its advantage on effect, starting time and security. |
