ObjectiveBy evaluating the erythema, scales, infiltration and conscious pruritus of patients with plaque psoriasis of blood stasis syndrome, evaluate the efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine atomization combined with moving cupping therapy, and explore the mechanism and theoretical basis of the method of relieving exterior syndromes and activating blood to guide the traditional Chinese medicine atomization combined with moving cupping therapy to treat plaque psoriasis of blood stasis. Then give play to the advantages of external treatment of TCM in the treatment of this disease.MethodsAccording to the principle of self comparison, thirty patients with plaque psoriasis of blood stasis syndrome were selected from two skin lesions of the same patient’s back or lower limb flexion at the same location(about 4 cm in diameter)and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group. The treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine atomization combined with moving cupping therapy, twice a week for 6 consecutive weeks. The control group was treated with Huangqin ointment(Homemade by Jiangsu Privince Hospital of Chinese Medicine). Both groups were given basic treatment(Traditional Chinese Medicine).Score the degree of skin erythema, infiltration, scales, and pruritus before treatment,3 weeks, and 6 weeks. The changes of skin lesions in the back and lower limbs of the treatment group were compared to explore the correlation between clinical efficacy and treatment site.Results1.Comparison of single symptom scores of skin lesions:①After 3 weeks of treatment, the erythema scores of the two groups were statistically different(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group;there was no significant difference in scale and infiltration scores between the two groups(P>0.05).②After 6 weeks of treatment, there were significant differences in erythema, scales, and infiltration scores between the two groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.2.Itching degree score comparison:① There was no significant difference in itching degree score between the two groups after treatment for 3 weeks(P>0.05).②After 6 weeks of treatment, there was a significant difference in the pruritus score between the two groups(P<0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group.3.Severity score:① After 3 weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference in the severity of target skin lesions between the two groups(P>0.05).② After 6 weeks of treatment, the score of target skin lesion severity in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, and the results were significantly different(P<0.01).4.Comparison of total efficacy:① In the treatment group for 3 weeks,0 cases were cured,4 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were effective,11 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 63.3%.The control group was 0 cases,2 cases,11 cases, and 17 cases, with a total effective rate of 43.3%.After comparison, the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).② After 6 weeks of treatment,2 cases were cured in the treatment group,12 cases were markedly effective,14 cases were effective, and 2 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 93.3%.In the control group,1 case,9 cases,12 cases and 8 cases were respectively, the total effective rate was 73.3%.After comparison, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.5.Comparison of scores and differences of back and lower limb skin lesions in the treatment group:① Comparison of general information:There was no significant difference in gender, age, and course of disease between the two groups of back and lower limbs(P>0.05),and they were comparable.② Comparison between groups:(1)There were no significant differences in erythema, scaly, infiltration and severity scores between the two groups after 3 weeks and 6 weeks of treatment(P>0.05).(2)After 3 weeks of treatment, the difference in erythema, infiltration and severity scores in the treatment group(back)was higher than that in the treatment group(lower limbs),and the difference in scale score was slightly lower than that in the treatment group(lower limbs);(Back)The differences in erythema, scales, infiltration, and severity scores were higher than those in the treatment group(lower limbs). There were no significant differences in erythema, scales, infiltration, and severity scores between the two groups at 3 weeks and 6 weeks(P>0.05).The results showed that the back and lower limbs in the treatment group had comparable effects, but the study found that the scores of back skin lesions in the treatment group were lower than those in the lower limbs.Conclusion1.The traditional Chinese medicine atomization combined with moving cupping therapy can significantly impro’ve the skin lesions of erythema, scales, infiltration and itching, and has no adverse reactions, high safety, and is worthy of clinical promotion.2.The effect of traditional Chinese medicine atomization combined with moving cupping therapy on plaque psoriasis has no correlation with the treatment site. The effect on the back and lower limbs is equivalent, but the score of each skin lesion on the back is lower than that on the lower limbs.
