Clinical Study On Treating Blood Stasis Type Diabetic Peripheral Neurophathy With Compound Danshen Dripping Pills

Objective:This paper is to study the the clinical curative effect of blood stasis type Diabetic peripheral neurophathy treated with Compound Danshen Dripping Pills(CDDP) and explore the advantages of chinese traditional medical on DPN.methods:50 patients who were consistent with internal and depletion standards of DPN were randomly diveded equally into the treatment group(basic treating plus with CDDP) and the control group(basic treating only).The test cycle was three months.All the patient's clinical symptoms,physical sign,nerve conduction velocity(NCV) were statistically contrasted between the two groups.Result:1.Curative effect of symptom of treatment group and the control group were 56% and 12%each,the two groups had significant difference(P＜0.01).The scores of treatment group was lowered3.64±3.16.Before and after the test there was statistical difference(P＜0.05)in the treatment group,but control group hasn't statistical difference(P＞0.05).For the two groups,there existed significant difference(P＜0.01) afer the test.The scores of treatment group were obviously lower than that of control group in mean value.2.Sensory nerves conduction velocity(SCV):No statistical difference(P＞0.05) before and after the test existed in both the two groups.For FingersⅠand FingersⅢof median nerve, No statistical difference(P＞0.05) between the two groups existed after the test,.However, there were significant difference(P＜0.01) between the two groups after the test for ulnar nerve,peroneal nerve and sural nerve.The mean value of treatment group was obviously higher than control group in SCV.There were significant differences(P＜0.01) between the two groups after test in difference.3.Motor nerves conduction velocity(MCV):For the ulnar nerve of control group,there was statistical difference(P＜0.05) before and after the test,but for median nerve and peroneal nerve the results were opposite(P＞0.05).For the three nerves of control group,there were statistical difference(P＜0.05) before and after the test.It is clear that after test MCV was lower than before test.For the two groups,there were significant difference(P＜0.01) after the test.The MCV of treatment group was obviously higher than that of control group in mean value.There were significant difference(P＜0.01) between the two groups after test in difference.Conclusinon:1.It is clear that CDDP can improve symptom and physical sign of blood stasis type DPN,but the effectiveness is not so ideal(56%).However,the patient's conditions in control group aggravated because of without using CDDP.2.CDDP can raise NCV.While the patients' MCV and SCV in control group were obviously dropped after 3 months.3.CDDP can cure and delay DPN to aggravate.
