Clinical Research On Treating The Osteoporosis In Perimenopausal Women With The Bu Shen Kang Shu Zhuang Gu Decoction

Objective: To observe the clinical effection of treating the osteoporosis in perimenopausal women with Bu Shen Kang Shu Zhuang Gu(BSKSZG) Decoction and explore the function mechanism of it. Methods: 57 patients were divided into two groups randomly:the treatment group(28 cases,treated with BSKSZG )and the control group(29 cases,treated with Nilestriol).The changes of clinical symptoms and syndrome of TCM were observed before and after treatment.Meanwhile the bone density,female endocrine hormone and blood rheology , serum calcium were measured. Result: 1.The osteoporosis effective rate of the treatment group reached at 96.43%, while the control group reached at 82.76%, there was significant difference between the two groups(p<0.05).2.The total effective rate of the syndrome of TCM of the treatment group and the control group were 92.86% and 79.31%, there was significant difference between the two groups(p<0.05).3. Compared with Nilestriol ,BSKSZG Decoction was more effectively to improve the blood rheology and increasing serum calcium.4.After treatment by BSKSZG Decoction or Nilestriol,the levels of estrogen were exaltated.Conclusions: BSKSZG Decoction is an effective recipe in treating osteoporosis .The therapeutic mechanisms might be exaltate the estrogen level, ameliorate the blood rheology, increase the serum calcium.
