| Objective:The purposes of the thesis are to investigate the clinical effects and mechanisms of bu shen shu gan Soup for curing the stagnation of liver-Qi and renal deficiency of peripheral menopause syndrome through a clinical study.Methods:59 patients who had been diagnosed as stagnation of liver-Qi and renal deficiency of perimenopausal syndrome were chosen in the randomized and controlled interventional study. They were randomly divided into 2 groups,30 in the test group,29 in the control group. The test group were given, while the control group were given Climen. The time for curing lasted 3 months. The clinical symptoms score, the serum hormone levels of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH),luteinzing hormone(LH) and estradiol(E2),and ultrasound change were observed in both groups before and after this theropy. Results:Both bu shen shu gan Soup and the Climen can decrease the clinical symptoms score. The total effective rate of each group was 93.33% and 82.75% respectively, which revealed significant difference between two groups(P<0.01). Both groups can raise the level of E2 (P<0.01),and reduce the level of FSH,LH (P< 0.01). The test group showed more significant effects than the control group in changing the serum hormone levels (P< 0.05). Improved endometrial thickness were revealed in both groups and the treatment group showed significant improvement than the control group(P<0.05).Uterine size and ovarian size were showed no significant improvement in both groups. Conclusions:Invigorating the kidney and relieving Qi Stagnancy in Liver regulating and nourishing Chong and Ren Channels both are effective ways for curing the stagnation of liver-Qi and renal deficiency of peripheral menopause syndrome. Bushen shugan soup can reach the therapeutic goal through modifying the hormone levels in bodied and improving the growth of endometrium, and have better effects than Climen. No obvious side effects were found. |
