Risk Factors Of Epileptic Patients With Depression

Aim: To analyze the risk factors of epileptic patients with depression.Methods: Take case history of 140 epileptic out-patients and evaluate them by HamiltonDepression Scale (HAMD) and QOLIE-31.Results: Logistic regression confirmed that account of seizure type, complex partialseizure(CPS),social function and seizure worry were risk factors for epileptic patientswith depression.Conclusion: Factors such as two or more seizure types,CPS, low scores of social functionand seizure worry are related to epileptic patients with depression.
