| Objective: to introduce treatment of therapy of urinary incontinence after stroke by acupuncturing BL 32 and to evaluate its outcome through comparing the clinical effect between the common points and ciliao(BL32) combining those points,and to try to explain its mechamism.Methods: the research discussed the clinical treatment effect through treating urinary incontinence after stroke between two different groups of points. 60patients were randomly divided into a control group(n=30) treanted by acupuncturing sishencong(EX-HN 1 ),qihai(RN6),shenshu(BL23),sanyinjiao(SP6),and a therapy group(n=30) treanted by acunpuncturing ciliao(BL32) and those points. The patients' improved degree and clinical symptoms were compared after treating.Result:after one month' treatment,the cure and remarkable effect rate (67%)of therapy group in urinary incontinence after stroke was superior to the control group (43%)(P<0.05), and so is the improvement of the scores of clinical symptoms .Conclusion: 1.Treating urinary incontinence after stroke with acupuncturing is effective,and ciliao(BL32) can strengthen the effect;2. The probable mechanism is to stimulate the peripheral nerves and centrical nerves. |
