Clinical Observation On Acupuncture And Moxibustion Treatment Of Urinary Incontinence After Stroke

Objective: To investigate the acupuncture and moxibution treatment of urinary incontinence after strokeMethods: In this study, patients with urinary incontinence after stroke for the objects of the study, 60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group (30 cases) and control group (30 cases), treatment group were treated with acupuncture Sishencong point, bilateral Shenshu point, bilateral Huiyang points, moxibustion in the Zhongji point and Guanyuan point. To take 1.5-inch needles diagonal stabbing into Sishencong point with 15-30 degrees, sustained Twist 2 minutes and twisting 180 rpm / sec, 10 minutes to repeat Twist 1, retaining the needle for 30 minutes. Acupuncture bilateral Huiyang bilateral Shenshu with 2.5-inch conventional needle and with electric acupuncture, connected to the same side, then Shenshu positive and negative will then Huiyang point, choose sparse wave, and the best status will be the patient can tolerate, needle retention time of 30 minutes, electro-acupuncture apparatus used Almighty KWD-808Ⅱtype pulse electrotherapy. Moxibustion by DAJ-23 moxibustion instrument, 20 minutes each time, the temperature of patients can tolerate the extent.Select the relevant control group, in Guanyuan, Zhongji, Pangguanshu, Sanyinjiao,Shenshu point, supplement routine acupuncture method. Two groups were acupunctured each day, 6 day a course of treatment, each treatment interval of 1 day, effect was observed after 4 treatment. Before treatment after treatment for urinary incontinence in the level of assessment and observation of patients with functional assessment alone (FIM) scale score change.Results: The clinical observation showed that the effective rate of treatment group is 96.7%, control group is 80%, the effective rate of treatment group significant better than the control group (P <0.05); FIM scale score: in treatment group after the treatment score (87.87±3.73), before treatment score (66.23±10.18), there was significant difference (P <0.05), And the control group after treatment (80.77±3.99) were significantly different with the treatment group(P <0.01).Conclusion: Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of urinary incontinence after stroke, the efficacy is superior to conventional treatment group, significant improvements in symptoms and signs in patients with urinary incontinence.
