Objective:To investigate the risk factors of stroke in young and middle-aged adults in new times and deficiency of clinical examination.Methods:Total 162 stroke patients were recruited.We collected the data including age,sex,habitation,education,occupation,hypertension history,heart diseases history,diabetes history,smoking,drinking alcohol,blood lipids and diagnosis and so on.The relationship between homocysteine and stroke in young and middle-aged adults were analyzed by meta-analysis in homogeneity test and combined test in 7 studies.Results:1.113 of 162(69.7%) young and middle-aged stroke patients were male.49 of 162(30.3%) young and middle-aged adults stroke patients were female.2.The young and middle-aged stroke subtypes were ischemic stroke,intracerebtal hemorrhage(ICH),hemorrhagic infarct and subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).3.The first three risk factors of young and middle-aged stroke were Lack of exercise,dyslipidemia and hypertension.4.There were some imperfect clinical examination:2-hr postprandial blood sugar,vascular ultrasound and transcranial Doppler sonography.4.Combined test showed that high plasma Hcy level is an important risk fact of youth and middle-aged cerebral infarction(categoricaldata:OR=9.12,95%CI:6.26-13.29;)Conclusions:1.The higher constituent ratio is happened in male.2.The young and middle-aged stroke subtypes are ischemic stroke and inteacerebral hemorrhage.3.Lack of exercise,dyslipidemia and hypertension are the important risk factors in young and middle-aged stroke.4.There are some defects in clinical examination.
