High density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) was tested by the selective suppression methods(SPD), and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) was tested by surfactant elimination (SUR). Subjects were Classified into 5 groups, including groups of 30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69 and over 70,according to age and gender. Results were analyzed by statistics. Quality control methods were adopted in the entire process of testing. Results A total of 1641 subjects were enrolled from 2 university in Xian city, including 867 males and 774 females.1. Item TC : Decreasing with aging in males as well as in females before the age of 50 but increasing after 50, females'level for group of 60-69 is at 5.20±0.96 mmol/L and males'level is at 4.57±0.96 mmol/L in group of 60-69. The anomaly rate in female is 45.9% and it is 16.8% for male, with significant difference between males and females (P < 0.05). Females'level is at 5.19±0.86 mmol/L and males'level is at 4.51±0.80 mmol/L for group of 70. The anomaly rate in female is 47.3 % and it is 21.0 % for male, with significant difference between males and females (P < 0.05). There are no significant differences between males and females in Other age groups(P > 0.05).2. Item TG: The level of TG and its anomaly rate decrease with aging in males but increase in females. There are significant differences between males and females in all age groups(P < 0.05).3. Item HDL-C: Increasing with ageing in both males and females, females'level is at 1.50±0.38 mmol/L and males'level is at 1.26±0.28 mmol/L for group of 50-59. The anomaly rate in female is 34.0% and it is 48.4%for male, with significant difference between males and females (P < 0.05). There are no significant difference between males and females in other groups(P >0.05).4. Item LDL-C: No changing with aging in both males and females, females'level is at 2.81±0.76 mmol/L and males'level is at 2.51±0.70 mmol/L for group of age 60-69 . The anomaly rate in female is 18.6% and it is 48.4% for male, with significant difference between males and females (P < 0.05) . There are no significant difference between males and females in other groups(P >0.05).Conclusion The level of blood lipid decrease with aging in males but increases in females when they are over the age of 50. There has been more and more anomalous blood lipid in the young males and menopause females . Therefore they need to prevent and control their anomalous blood lipid more attentively. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | blood lipid, cardiocerebrovascular diseases, clinical examination | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
