Study On The Methods Of Synthetic Evaluating The New Rural Cooperative Medical Service And The Influencing Factors Of Its Performance In Fujian Province

[Objective]The aims of this study are to look into the suitable methods of synthetic evaluating new rural cooperative medical service,to analyze the influence factors on its performance in Fujian Province,and to provide information for improving rural cooperative medical service in Fujian Province.[Methods]The weights on the estimating variables are given in terms of subjective and objective methods,respectively,and then several evaluation methods are used to assess and to rank the performance status of the new rural cooperative medical service, and by comparing these results,to look into the suitable estimating methods.Stepwise regression is used to analyze the factors which may impact the performance status of new rural cooperative medical service.[Results]The ten variables are selected as the synthetic estimating variables.The weights on the ten variables defined by objective method are suitable for expressing their importance in assess the performance status of new rural cooperative medical service.There are differences of results among these comprehensive evaluation methods,but the ranks for the better and for the poorer regions are same.The difference between the results of the general area of the more obvious;mainly affects of the new rural cooperative medical factors combined results of the evaluation of economic factors:the amount of funding per capita,per capita income of farmers, other aspects of the impact is not clear.[Conclusion]The objective is simple and reliable method of assigning method,with basically the same as the subjective weighting approach.General evaluation of the different results are not exactly the same,using a single evaluation of the results of poor reliability;can appropriately evaluate the use of combination or clustering method,roughly divided into several categories for the gifted;to improve the level of compensation the new rural cooperative medical to improve local economic level, improve per capita income of peasant-based.
