Literature-Based Method Research On TCM Syndrome Standardization

Summarized and reviewed the standardization of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes research methods and their applications,summarized a variety of methods of the last decade,including scale integration,statistical analysis,computer simulation,in which a relatively large number of applications is integral scale and statistical analysis,to work in the Syndrome of the process of standardization of the subjective feelings of great importance to patients that the symptoms of inquiry need be.And put forward the necessity of attaching importance to the subjective feelings of patients.PurposeTo explore a method of syndrome standardization based on literature.Mine the data of syndromes in literature.Use software like WEKA and SPSS to analyze the syndromes.SignificanceMining the TCM Syndrome information from literature,to process the research on the standardization of syndromes,it will play a role in the standardization and modernization of TCM.MethodChose four diseases from western medicine books,namely,diabetes mellitus, gastritis,Dysmenorrhea,lung cancer.Check them in the China Biology and Medical disc(CBM disc).Download the articles which have the information of TCM syndromes.Make a database of TCM syndromes.Normalize the data.Minimize the symptoms into the so-called smallest units of TCM.Change them into numbers which computers can read.And then use WEKA for discriminant analysis,SPSS for cluster analysis.And then translated the data into Chinese data,sort them according to correlation coefficients.Then the information Syndromes come out.ResultThe Syndromes we got are similar to the existing standards.The existing standards are approved to some extent by the Authors of the articles.They have more or less the impact of existing standards.However,because of the diversity and the complexity of clinical diseases,the results of the trial cannot be covered by the existing standards completely.So the existing standards need further improvement.ConclusionThe method of syndrome research above is feasible.In this way the syndromes are concluded from the literature which may be recognized by the authors or without a conclusion.But they are being used this way all the while.At the same time put forward that it is necessary to introduce the concept of Zhengsu to the standardization of syndromes.Innovative pointsThe first time carry out the research of Syndromes standardization from the perspective of the literature by using the techniques of computer and statistics.
