Clinical Observation Of Ziyin Huoxue Decoction On Primary Sjogren's Syndrome

Sjogren' s syndrome(SS) is a violation of exocrine gland body especially the main lacrimal gland and salivary gland and a high degree characterized by lymphocytic infiltration of the chronic autoimmune disease.Common clinical symptom is the mouth and eyes of dry,but in most cases the damage is often accompanied by a number of systems and a variety of clinical manifestations.Primary Sjogren' s syndrome(PSS) is the simple Sjogren' s syndrome without another connective tissue disease which is definitely diagnosed. Western medicine is currently no effective treatment therapy, mainly to based on alleviate symptoms of dry and prevention damage to many systems-oriented.According to clinical manifestations,PSS belongs to a "dry" catagory in traditional Chinese medicine.Objective:This thesis observed the clinical curative effect of ziyinhuoxue decoction in order to bring forward the thought of treating primary Sjogren' s syndrome by moisturizing dryness,activating blood, removing toxin.Ziyinhuoxue decoction have improved the patients clinical symptoms,physical signs and laboratory indexs which seek after the mechanism in treatment and prevention of primary Sjogren ' s syndrome with Chinese traditional medicine and provide reliable evidences for application in clinic. Methods:61 cases who complies with the standards were randomly classified into two group,patients in treatment group were given ziyinhuoxue decoction while patients in control group were given Total Glucosides of Paeon.Two months were a observation period.The integrals of symptoms and the changes of related lab targets before and after therapy were observed.Results:1.Compare the effect'of the two groups:the total efficiency of the treatment group is 83.87%,and the control group is 50%,with a great difference between them(P＜0.01).2.Compare the clinical symptoms of the two groups:treatment group had significant differences before and after treatment(P＜0.01).Furthermore their dryness of mouth,pharynx,eyes,and skin,the picture of tongue,arthralgia,constipation and thready pulse had been improved obviously in treatment group(P＜0.01). Moreove,comparison of the two groups after treatment were significantly different(P＜0.01).The dryness of mouth,pharynx and constipation had significant differences in control group before and after treatment(P＜0.05).3.Compare the experimental indicators of the two groups: treatment group had significant differences before and after treatment(P＜0.01),which had been improved the level of ESR,immunoglobul,anti-ssa,anti-ssb and rheumatoid factor.The control group no differences before and after treatment(P＜0.01) apart from the experimental index of ESR.The significant difference compared after treatment between the two groups(P＜0.01).Conclusion: Treating primary Sjogren' s syndrome by moisturizing dryness, activating blood,the ziyinhuoxue decoction have improved the patients clinical symptoms,it shows that there are wide prospect of Chinese medicine that treat SS effectively in abundant resources of traditional Chinese medicine.
