Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Soothing The Liver,regulating Spleen,Moistening Dryness And Detoxifying Method On Sjogren’s Syndrome

Objective: To observe the improvement of TCM syndrome points and changes of relevant laboratory test indexes in patients with Sjogren syndrome by clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),and to analyze the improvement of Sjogren syndrome symptoms and its effect on immune regulation.Methods: 60 patients with Sjogren syndrome who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 patients in each group.Both groups were given hydroxychloroquine sulfate tablets 0.2g orally,twice a day,prednisone tablets 5mg orally,once a day.On this basis,the treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine formulas and formulas of soothing liver,regulating spleen,moistening dryness and detoxifying.Before and after treatment,TCM syndrome scores of the treatment group and the control group were evaluated and compared at 0 weeks and 8 weeks respectively.Laboratory test indexes ESR,c-reactive protein CRP,immunoglobulin(Ig A,Ig G,Ig M)and rheumatoid factor RF of the two groups were tested and compared statistically.Results: 1.The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better thanthat of the control group on the points of dry mouth,dry eyes,joint pain,constipation and dry skin(P < 0.05),while there was no statistical difference between the treatment group and the control group on the points of tongue and pulse(P > 0.05).2.In terms of improving ESR,CRP and Ig G,the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P< 0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups in improving Ig A,Ig M and RF(P > 0.05).3.The total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 90.00% and 63.33%,respectively.Conclusion: 1.The traditional Chinese medicine of soothing the liver,regulating the spleen,moistening the dryness and detoxifying the spleen is effective in treating patients with Sjogren syndrome,which can improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients with Sjogren syndrome,and the effect is better than that of the control group.2.The effect of traditional Chinese medicine on improving the immune function of patients with sarid syndrome is better than that of the control group.
