| Objective: Two acupuncture prescriptions were selected which were Shiqizhui (EX-B7) and Sanyinjiao (SP6), Ciliao (BL 32), Diji (SP 8) and Shiqizhui (EX-B7) and both of them were effective for primary dysmenorrhea under the same manipulation, time course and intervention time. We observed the different influences on primary dysmenorrhea and then optimized the better acupint or acupoint combination which could lay the foundation for the perfection of acupoint optimization. Methods: 60 patients with primary dysmenorrhea were divided into three groups. Among the 60 cases, there were 20 in single acupoint group, one case falling off, 20 in acupoint combination group, 3 cases falling off and 20 in control group without acupuncture treatment. Then we observed the changes of CMSS before and after treatment to compare the differences among the three groups. Conclusion: Single acupoint group and acupoint combination group both had significant differences after treatment (P<0.05). There were significant differences between treatment group and control group(P<0.05). Control group did not have obvious change in the course of research(P>0.05). After the treatment, there were not significant differences between single acupoint group and acupoint combination group(P>0.05). But there was trend which the acupoint combination group had better effect than the single acupoint group. So we come to a conclusion that both pricking single acupoint and acupoint combination before the menstuation can shorten the time of CMSS and alleviate the severity of CMSS. At the same time, the effect of acupoint combination has more advantages than that of single acupoint. The acupionts of Sanyinjiao (SP6), Ciliao (BL 32), Diji (SP 8) and Shiqizhui (EX-B7) may be better acupoint combination for primary dysmenorrhea before the menstruation. |
