| Microfiltration technology is a technology which can separate suspended particles in size above 0.05~10μm utilizing sieving principle. Its advantages lies in:no phase-change during separation process, being carried out at room temperature, saving energy consumption, easy operation and so on.This subject chose proposely four extract of traditional Chinese medicine (Polygonum multiflorum, rhubarb, licorice and honeysuckle) to research. The experiment studied on the trend of membrane flux with time and the changes of water extract of Chinese medicine in the characters before and after microfiltration, such as turbidity, total solids.Four kinds of solution through the microfiltration turned to be settled. The turbidity of four kinds of solution through the microfiltration compared with the water extract, from 635 NTU,590 NTU,520 NTU,610 NTU down to 46 NTU. 44 NTU,52 NTU,63 NTU.Removal rate of total solids were 67.9%,66.2%,45.7 and 56.6%.The effect of clarify is significant.Use HPLC and UV to study the changes of the active ingredient in four water extract of Chinese medicine before and after microfiltration. The content of active ingredient stilbene glucoside, rhein, chlorogenic acid and glycyrrhizic acid in the solution through the microfiltration membrane were 2.04 times,1.56 times,1.25 times,1.23 times than in water extracts. The content of Polygonum multiflorum polysaccharide in the solution which did not traverse the microfiltration membrane was 1.96 times than in water extracts. The impact of immune function of Polygonum multiflorum extracts of water samples before and after microfiltration were compared.Three samples could inhibit delayed type hypersensitivity in mice. The solution that did not traverse the microfiltration membrane promoted the carbon clearance in mice.Three samples could raise the B-lymphocyte growth rate in mice. The best dose for each sample was 0.5~1.0μg·ml-1.The order of enhancement property of the three samples is:The solution that did not traverse the microfiltration membrane>water extract> the solution traverse the microfiltration membrane. |
