| Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of early continuous passive motion on rehabilitation of the senile patients whose femoral neck fractured after artificial hip joint arthroplasty. Methods: According to the selection criteria, 60 senile patients with fresh femoralneck fracture, who plant to treat with artificial hip joint arthroplasty in June 2008 to April 2009 from The First Affiliated Hospital Of Guangzhou University, were randomly divided into two groups:1,Control group, in which patients received conventional physical therapy alone, 2,Experimental group, in which patients had conventional physical therapy and additional early CPM. Compare And analyse the two groups of patients' hip pain, joint activity and function according to Harrsi scoring system at different time. Results: There was no significant difference of pain score between experimental group and control group before or after surgery. The hip active range of joint motion of experimental group were significant superior to those of control group in early aftertreatment. And the Harris hip score were significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. The former was significantly higher than the latter. Conclusion: 1,CPM applications in early rehabilitation phase have little influence of pain of the postoperative patients, who treated to artificial hiP joint arthroplasty. 2,CPM applications in early rehabilitation could effectively improve patients' hip ROM. 3,CPM applications play a positive role in promoting early recuperation of postoperative artificial hip joint arthroplasty patients, but the forward effect needs further study. |
