Clinical Observation Of Laparoscopic Surgery Jiont Bushenhuoxue Therapy Treating Stages â… -â…¡ Of Endometriosis-associated Infertility

OBJECTIVE:To observe the pregnancy rate,the average pregnant periods,the efficacy of dysmenorrhea and TCM syndromes of women with stagesâ… -â…¡endometriosis-associated infertility,treated by laparoscopic surgery jiont Bushen Huoxue Cycle therapy.DESIGN:A randomized controlled trial(RCT).PATIENT(S):Thirty-six women with stagesâ… -â…¡endometriosis associated infertility,all of whom had been imposed laparoscopic surgery by Professor Wu,were assigned randomly to two different groups,Group A(the treated group) and Group B(the controlled group).INTERVENTION(S):After laparoscopic surgery,The patients in Group A were treated by Bushen Huoxue Cycle therapy for three menstrual cycles;while those in Group B were treated by observed only regularly.RESULT(S):A total of twenty-nine patients finished the study Compliantly(13 in group A,and 16 in group B).Until 3 menstrual cycles pass surgery,2 women get pregnant in each group,and there is no significant difference between the two groups in Statistics(P>0.05);until 6 menstrual cycles after surgery,the pregnancy rate in group A is 46.2%(6/13),comparing to 18.8%(3/16) in group B;the average pregnat periods are 7.31 menstrual cycles in group A,comparing to 11.90 menstrual cycles in group B;the differences are with no significance ether(P>0.05).CONCLUSION(S):Comparing to observing therapy afer sugery,laparoscopic surgery jiont Bushen Huoxue Cycle therapy could improve TCM syndromes of the women with stagesâ… -â…¡endometriosis associated infertility,however,whether it could improve the pregnancy rates,shorten the average pregnant periods, and relieve dysmenorrhea still needs to be confirmed by further study,which should be expanded sample size and extended observation time.
