| Current surgical management of the painful lumbar motion segment is imperfect. The dominant surgical justification for fusing the painful motion segment has been the concept of instability. Fusion surgery to ease pain, reduce morbidity, above all clinical pain relief and improve motor function. With the fusion technology continues to improve, increasing the rate of interbody fusion ,at the same time, low back pain has not improved correspondingly. Recent reports, however, have demonstrated relative success with implants that permit movement rather than eliminate it. Thus, the "dynamic stability" of the concept was brought forward. Internal fixator of spine was developed from stability fusing to dynamic stabilization. My paper is a brief summary on the application of the dynamic stabilization in lumbar instability syndrome operation. |
