Flos Chrysanthemi Indici is dried capitulum of Chrysanthemum indicum L.The report showed that main component of Flos Chrysanthemi Indici include terpenes, flavonoids and volatile oil and so on,the effects are increasing coronary flow, depressing blood pressure, inhibiting platelet aggregation, enhancing immunity function, in addition, involve in anti-microbial , anti-inflammation,anti-oxidation and anti-tumor. Flos Chryeanthemi Indici and its compound preparation have been used on prevention and treatment infectious diseases of respiratory and urinary and akin system and so on. The chemical constituents of the effective fraction were investigated intensively. The chemical constituents of the effective fraction were investigated intensively.10 compounds were isolated and purified by silicagel, polyamide, sephadex LH-20 column chromatogram. On basis of their spectral data, 8 of them were elucidated asβ-Sitosterol (Ⅰ),Handelin(Ⅱ),cumambrinA(Ⅲ),acacetin(Ⅳ),linarin(Ⅴ),luteolin(Ⅵ),apigenin-7-O-α-L -rhamnopyranosyl(1-6 )-β-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅶ),luteolin-7-O–β-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅷ).Essential oil of Flos chrysanthemum indicum was studied by GC/MS. The substance in essential oil was identified by MS. 22 substances were found, and among them 11 were identified. They are mainly monoterpene, triterpenes and fatty compound.Taking the content of total flavonoids as observation index,we have studied the extraction processs by the L9(34) orthogonal design. Through a series of tests,we found out that the best extraction condition was twelve times alcohol in volume of the raw material, extracting three times and two hours every time. we studied the sublimate techniques of the total flavones.
