| Objective: Phylloporia ribis, a kind of fungi, belongs to the genus Phylloporia in the family Hymenochaetales, parasitized on the aging tunks of Lonicera japonica Thunb., has been used as a traditional medicine for the treatment of pharyngitis, laryngitis and tonsillitis. The fruiting bodies of Phylloporia ribis revealed various biological activities including antitumor, immune-enhancing, anti-inflammatory activity and so on, but the active components are not clear now. The research on chemical constituents in this kind of fungi was few. The chemical constituents in fruiting bodies of Phylloporia ribis, an important traditional medicine, were studied, in order to make full use of it.Methods: The chemical constituents of Phylloporia ribis(Lonicera japonica Thunb.) were studied by using of the GC-MS, LC-MS and Sephadex LH-20, ODS, Silica gel column chromatography, crystallization. Results: The main volatile components from Phylloporia ribis(Lonicera japonica Thunb.) by using of the supercritical CO2 extraction and the steam distillation are n-Hexadecanoic acid, 9,12-Octadecadienoic acid (Z,Z)-, Oleic Acid, and so on. For the steam distillation extractive, the same volatile components from Phylloporia ribis(Lonicera japonica Thunb.) and Flos Lonicerae Japonicae were ethyl propionate, toluene, n-Hexadecanoic acid, 9,12-Octadecadienoic acid (Z,Z)- and so on. Many mutual compounds, e.g. Chlorogenic acid, were found in both Phylloporia ribis(Lonicera japonica Thunb.) and Flos Lonicerae Japonicae by LC-MS analysis. On the basis of spectra data and physicochemical properties, eleven compounds were isolated and nine were identified from the fruiting bodies of Phylloporia ribis. They were stigmasterol, n-octacosanoic acid,β-sterol, ergosterol, ergosterol-5,8-peroxide, azelaic acid, niacin, protocatechuic acid,α-D-(+)-glucose.Conclusion: Phylloporia ribis(Lonicera japonica Thunb.) have several kinds of active components with important value as a traditional medicine. The low polar chemical constituents were mainly acidic constituents, similar to Flos Lonicerae Japonicae. Nine compounds structure were identified, stigmasterol,β-sterol, azelaic acid were also obtained from this genus the first time. |
