Objective:To explore the effects that Yishen Tongbi Decoction on the residual symptoms of lumbar disc herniation in the postoperative, and observe the short-term efficacy and long-term efficacy effects that Yishen Tongbi Decoction on lumbar disc herniation in residual symptoms,as well as observe the difference between the basis treatment group, mecobalamin treatment group and the Yishen Tongbi Decoction treatment group. Methods:Clinical data are come from the orthopedic patients of the Chinese medicine hospital in Jiang-Su Province,Who actualize the posterior lumbar disc herniation-discectomy from January 2008 to February 2009.In the total 75 patients of the selected cases, refer to specific drug programs in accordance with the different treatment group were randomly divided into the basis(the basis treatment group ),the basis + mecobalamin group (mecobalamin group),the basis + Yishen Tongbi Decoction group(TCM group).Continuing course of treatment for a week,1 day after operation, the first 1 week,2 weeks,4 weeks, and 8 weeks follow-up time, the total observation time is 8 weeks.Using visual analogue scoring system(VAS) score and JOA score system for low back pain score,to assess whether there are differences between the age and sex after the first day,and to determine comparability; comparison the first 1 week,2 weeks,4 weeks,8 weeks of the observation point score for three groups of 22 compared to observe the three groups of treatment and differences between the three groups. Results:In clinical studies, according to statistical analysis report can be the result of the following:(1),the equilibrium of the three groups to compare the 22 gender, there is(P>0.05) no significant differences between age in three groups of cases.(2),there is no significant differences between the three groups compared after the first day of the VAS score and JOA score area(P>0.05).(3),there is no significant difference after the first point of the VAS score(P>0.05),but three groups compared by the JOA score(P<0.05),lead to the existence of significant difference.(4),three groups after surgery point from the second week to the eighth week of the JOA score and VAS score mecobalamin group, the TCM group, respectively, and basic group(P<0.05) are significantly different, and the VAS score and the mean JOA score the basis of group is superior.(5),comparison between the two groups of Chinese medicine group and the mecobalamin group,in the first week and the second week, theer is no significant difference(P<0.05),in the near future,VAS scores with the JOA score of no statistical learning differences;the fourth week, eighth week, the only significant difference(P<0.05),appeared in the TCM group in the VAS scores and the mean JOA score was superior to mecobalamin group. Conclusion:mecobalamin group,Tongbi Yishen decoction of Chinese medicine, and the basis group can improve the postoperative lumbar disc herniation residual symptoms in the short term.In the first week, there is observe differences in the tests of the JOA score between the mecobalamin group, the TCM group and the basis group(P≤0.05),with statistical significance.Over the next eight weeks in each time point VAS,JOA score mecobalamin group, traditional Chinese medicine group are also better than the basis group.Long-term efficacy can be seen that, the basis treatment is obviously not as good as mecobalamin group, or the TCM group.Mecobalamin group, and TCM group in the initial two weeks is not much difference between each other, and the first two weeks of the VAS,JOA score cobalt amine groups, there is no significant difference between the two groups(P all>0.05),we can see in the near future mecobalamin,Chinese medicine Tongbi Yishen soup is in similar effect in the first observation of 4,8-week time point VAS,JOA score with the mecobalamin group, the difference only apparent significant(P≤0.05),based on average score. We can see that the TCM group on the long-term efficacy of treatment is better than mecobalamin group.
