Theoretical research:Under the guidance of TCM theory , combined the past and current research on theories of TCM and Western Medicine theory toward senescence and theory of phlegm, blood stasis, to make an discuses on the relationship of phlegm,blood stasis and senescence. We believe that as age adds, the function of Zang and FU declines or disorders, gas> blood and body fluid can not run smoothly, and pathology products such as phlegm and blood stasis forms, that more and more following age adds. Once phlegm and blood stasis formed, they will make an bad affect on the body and the function of Zang and FU organ, obstacle the movement of gas,blood and body fluid, than body metabolism disordered, hazardous substances continue to accumulate in the body,so that urging and accelerating body senescence ,phlegm,blood stasis developing to some extent can cause disease and accelerating the process of aging ,even the approaching of death. Phlegm and blood stasis are products of the process of aging, At the same time , they are the symbolism of aging. Once they are formed , the will become promoting reseat of aging, Phlegm and blood stasis are one of important mechanism of body senescence.Clinical research:Objective: Disgusting the the relationship of phlegm,blood stasis and senescence by clinically to provide clinical foundation for phlegm, blood stasis and aging-related theory of Chinese medicine.Method :1 To make clinical observation of the syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis towards 371 individuals(over 40-year).2 151of the individual motioned above will be tested the contraction of SOD and MDA.(devided into 4 groups: 34 for phlegm syndrome group, 42 for blood stasis group, 39 for phlegm combine with blood stasis syndrome group, 36 for non phlegm or stasis group ).Result: 1 As age growth, the accordance of phlegm and stasis increase as well,They appears in most old people. As age growth, the chance of acquired phlegm and stasis at the same time increase.2 Compare with non phlegm or stasis group, the value of SOD , MDA of phlegm syndrome group and blood stasis group has statistic difference(P<0.05). Compare with non phlegm or stasis group, the value of SOD , MDA of phlegm combine with blood stasis syndrome group has remarkable statistic difference(P<0.01). Compare with phlegm group, the value of SOD , MDA of blood stasis syndrome group don not has statistic difference(P>0.05). Compare with phlegm group and blood stasis group, the value of SOD of phlegm combine with blood stasis syndrome group has statistic difference(P<0.05), while the value of MDA do not has statistic difference(p> 0.05).Conclusion:1 The relationship of phlegm,blood stasis and senescence is closed, phlegm and blood stasis are the symbolism of senescence.2 Phlegm , blood stasis closely related to the value of SOD and MDA. The body's ability to remove oxygen free radicals decreased and produce much oxygen free radicals, lipid peroxidation reaction process to much, make an serious bad affect on the body is a mechanism of how phlegm and blood stasis lead the body to aging.
