Trace elements play important roles in biological proeesses,both as essential components and as toxins.Some elements are indispensable and essential for life,and others are just inert at the usual exposure concentrations.Besides,toxicological and biological properties.Depend not only on the total concentration but also on the chemical species in which this analyte is present.Thus,monitoring the body status of trace elements as well as their specific-speciation has become a key problem that need to be solved recently.Based on consulting plenty of documents at home and abroad,first,a trace elments accurate quantification method using ICP- MS established in urine.10 trace elements in urine of the chromate workers are analyzed.Results show that the concentrations of chromium in urine of the chromate exposed workers are significantly higher than the healthy population,which also showed good accordance with the the air chromium.Secondly,a method was developed to simultaneously determine trace Cr(III) and Cr(VI) in water using HPLC-ICP-MS.The method confirmed reliability through spiked experiment, from analyzing the Cr(III)与Cr(VI) in rain in BeiJing,drinking water and some brand pure water using this method,results show that the Cr(VI) content is lower than the air quality of the country and drinking water standard. By using the water sample for reference, a method for the complex urine was provided. Finally,aim at trace chromium speciation in urine,by determination the gradient of spiked mix Cr(III) and Cr(VI),confirm the method reliability. The results show Cr(VI) in urine of the chromate exposed workers exist very good accordance with the air chromium.The above research has not only provided an accurate determination method of trace elements in the human urine, also provided a basic research between occupation exposed workers in trace elements metabolism and human healthy, as well as chromium and other trace elements speciation analysis.
