Objective To investigate the relationship between human leucocyte antigen -DQA1 Polymorphism distribution in intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy in zun yi district. Methods The HLA-DQA1 typing were analysed in blood samples using polymerase chain reaction with sequence-specific primer(PCR-SSP)in twenty patients and ten healthy pregnant women. Results Eleven types of HLA-DQA1 alleles were detected. Frequency of HLA-DQA1 * 0302 in ICP is more than healthy pregancy(34.21%,15.79 %),but the analysis showed no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion It is unlikely that an HLA-DQA1 allele is primarily associated with susceptibility or resistance to ICP in Zunyi district.
