Objective: Hospitalized patients with lower extremity arterial occlusive disease (LEASOD) were studied to analyze and compare the different degrees of exposure to risk factors of patients suffering from LEASOD and no-LEASOD,and in the mean time identify the relative significant risk factors which may guide the investigation of the etiological factor ,treatment and the secondary prevention later. Methods: A retrospective case-control study was applied to analyze the different exposure degrees to the factors which included sex, age, smoking, drinking, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease, hypercholesterolemia and elevated fibrinogen. Respectively 60 patients was recuited in controll group and experiment group. The logistic regression was used to analyze the data in every single factor analysis and multi-factor analysis. Results:The results in single factor analysis showed that age, smoking, diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia,FIB levels and cardiovascular disease had an effect on the occuring of LEASOD (P<0.05) .During multi-factor analysis hypertension, diabetes, smoking,FIB increased, dyslipidemia, age, elevated fibrinogen was ascertained to be the relative factors of which hypertension had the greatest impact with OR=14.341. Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease were excluded in the multi-factor analysis. Conclusion:The occurrence of LEASOD is influenced by varied factors. Hypertension, diabetes, smoking,FIB increased, dyslipidemia and age, elevated fibrinogen are relative risk factors.Further more, hypertension are the prominent factors.
