Objective:To investigate the correlation of clinical manifestation and laboratory examination in patients with lung involvement of primary Sjogren's syndrome.Methods:129 patients with pSS in our Hospital between January 2006 and January 2010 were screened chest imaging (HRCT), of which 47 patients with lung involvement. Excluding infections, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, congenital heart disease, rheumatic heart disease and other diseases, The difference was compared between patients with and without lung involvement. All patients fulfilied the 2002 international classification (criteria) for pSS.Results:The incidence of primary sjogrens syndrome with lung involvement was 36.4%. Interstitial lung involvement was 40.4%.Age, duration of the disease, Anti-SSAantibody-positive, immunoglobulinG, RF titer, low complemen in patients with lung involvement of primary Sjogren's syndrome were significantly higher than those in patients with no lung involvement (P< 0.005).Conlusion:Lung involvement in pSS is common and clinical manifestations are various. The advanced age, long duration of the disease, anti-SSA antibody-posi-tive, rising of RF titer, immunoglobulinG and the low complement in patients suggest lung involvement.
