ObjectiveTo investigate the vioce feature of disorders of phonation caused by laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) through the way of objective and subjective, and to analysis the effects of LPR to the patient's life.Methods112 of patients who were suspected of laryngopharyngeal reflux were received electronic nasopharyngolarygnoscope and evaluation of the reflux symptom index (RSI) and the reflux finding score (RFS).50 of patients whose RSI>13, RFS>7 were diagnosed laryngopharyngeal reflux and were received evaluation of voice handicap index(VHI) and analysis of vocal acoustics and examination of glottogram, some of them were received fibergastroduodenoscopyResults50 of patients finished questionnaire, VHI and analysis of vocal acoustics and examination of glottogram. It was found that the disorders of phonation caused by laryngopharyngeal reflux correlated with age, sex and living habit. Compared with normal control, the difference of fundamental frequency, perturbation of fundamental frequency, contiguity rate and maximum phonation time were statistically significant. In the evaluation of VHI, the score of physiology is the highest, the score of function is second and the score of emotion is the lowest. The RFS and VHI have correlations, while RSI and RFS\VHI have not.ConclusionsThe vocal function has been effected because the vocal cord has been injuryed by LPR.The vibrations of vocal cords are not instability.Evaluation of VHI and analysis of vocal acoustics and examination of glottogram have significance generally at judgement of therapeutic efficacy, observation of follow-up and even the compliance of patients and the confidence of doctor who treat the laryngopharyngeal reflux.
