ObjectiveTo explore the value of color doppler flow imaging (CDFI) and microvessel density (MVD) in distinguishing breast benign tumors from malignant tumors.Materials and Methods70 female cases with breast cancer whose age from confirmed pathologically were recruited in this study (age:23-65years; mean age: 42years). Of which 52 cases were invasive ductal cancer and 18 cases were fibroadenoma with breast. All cases were performed CDFI to observe blood flow status of tumor before surgery. MVD was detected with CD34 and CD 105 in the tissue sample of 70 cases by immunohistochemisty postoperation. The correlation between CDFI and MVD was analyzed.Results1 The MVD tagged by CD105 and CD34's monoclonal antibody in invasive ductal cancer was higher than that of fibroadenoma with breast. The relevance btween CD 105 and CD34 was obviously positive. The difference had significance (P<0.01)2 Most of malignant breast tumors belong toâ…¡andâ…¢and most benign tumors to 0 and I in the Adler grade of blood flow by CDFI. There was not detected the flow signal of benign tumors and the 0 and I flow signal of malignant tumors in less than 2cm mass.3 Color Doppler flow imaging to judge the vascular character of breast tumor synthetically had significant relevance with microvessel density detected by immunobiochemistry.Conclusions1 MVD tagged by CD34 and CD105's monoclonal antibody expression has significant difference in invasive ductal cancer group and fibroadenoma group. There are significant positive relevance between them. CD105 can be better than CD34 in new vessels growth.2 The relevance between the MVD and CDFI was obviously positive. CDFI technology as a preoperative differential diagnosis between benign and malignant tumor was the effective means.
