It is possible to resist cancer important protection mechanism.The most common oral squamous cell carcinoma is one of the high incidence, its mouth, low survival, serious harm to human health. Oral squamous cell carcinoma of the occurrence and development of cancer genes involved and tumor-suppressor genes, the structure and function of the experimental research, WWOX in oral mucosal pre-cancerous and oral expression of squamous cell carcinoma.Objective: to detect the expression of WWOX in OSCC and to explore its role in the development of OSCC and its future prospects. Methods: From August 2008 to November 2009, we obtained 41samples from the stomatology hospital of Jilin university , including 6 cases of normal oral mucous,5 cases of hyperplasia epithelia,12 cases of dysplasis epithelia and 18 cases of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC).We detected the expression of WWOX mRNA by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), respectively.Results:We detected the expression of WWOX mRNA in all oral mucous tissue and epithelia hyperplasia tissue . We detected the expression of WWOX mRNA in 10 epithelia dysplasis tissue and 12 OSCC . There were significant difference between normal oral mucous group, epithelia hyperplasia group and epithelia dysplasis group , OSCC .Except that there were no significant difference in ing1 mRNA expression between oral mucous group and epithelia hyperplasia group (P>0.01),there were significant difference between any two group. Conclusions:1.WWOXmRNA oral mucosal tissue in the normal and abnormal growths simple organization, organization and oral expression level of squamous cell carcinoma in a progressive decline.2.WWOXmRNA in oral expression of squamous cell carcinoma with normal oral mucosa and simple organization is decreased obviously. 3.WWOX tumor-suppressor genes on the research will help reveal oral squamous cell carcinoma occurs in the process of development, and guide the molecular mechanism of tumor genetic diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. |
