Objective:To explore the clinical and pathological characteristics of special types of uterine leiomyoma and its diagnosis and treatment..Methods:A retrospective analysis of 122 patients admitted to a special type of uterine smooth collected in Women's Hospital from 2003 to 2008.Results:The major clinical symptoms of the collected patients with special types of uterine leiomyoma include menstrual changes, abdominal mass and so on, which are similar to ordinary uterine fibroids. Their color, texture and microscopic characteristics are significantly different from ordinary leiomyoma and easy to be confused with uterine leiomyosarcoma. Postoperative follow-up of 105 cases are survived.Conclusions:Although the histological and clinical biological behavior of the special types of uterine leiomyoma are special, but they are benign and therapy should be moderate.
