| Objective:The paper investigates the clinical character, pathological character of cellular leiomyoma of the uterus, discuss its biological behavior and clinical outcomes to have comprehensive understanding of the disease and avoid overtreatment or undertreatment.Methods:Select495cases women in total in this paper, which were diagnosed as leiomyoma of the uterus after surgical treatment in year2013(Jan.~Dec.) from the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University.150cases of cellular leiomyoma of the uterus are studied as research group,100cases of leiomyoma of the uterus are compared as control group, and the other245cases are excluded as special type of leiomyoma of the uterus or uterine sarcoma. The paper retrospectively analyzes the cellular leiomyoma of the uterus from age of onset, morbidity rate,, clinical character, pathological character, treatment and prognosis respectively. Results:There is no significant difference between cellular leiomyoma of the uterus and ordinary leiomyoma of the uterus after comparing age of onset, clinical character, imaging examination, treatment, length of stay at hospital and so on except Dysmenorrheal, Anemia (P>0.05). The final diagnosis should depends on pathological examination. Based on post-operational visit of130cases, all women are survived and no recurrence or metastasis cases happen. The prognosis is well. Conclusion:cellular leiomyoma of the uterus is a kind of special leiomyoma of the uterus. It is a benign neoplasm. Since there are lots of cells under the microscope or even abnormal cells, so should differentiate cellular leiomyoma of the uterus and leiomyoma of the uterus strictly and carefully. It can get good result by taking surgical treatment for disease, but there are also some articles reported that there were possibilities that recurrence or metastasis happened in advanced stage and there was case that was diagnosed as low degree malignant leiomyoma of the uterus after recurrence, so special attention on post-operational visit for patient with cellular leiomyoma of the uterus is quite necessary. |
